Prevent Spam Filtering
If an alert lands in Spam folder:
- Open the email and click 'Not Spam'
- Click the sender name → 'Add to contacts'
- This prevents future alerts from being filtered
Create Alert Folder & Filter
Organize alerts in a dedicated folder:
- Go to Gmail Settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses
- Click 'Create a new filter'
- Enter 'alerts@berouteaware.com' in the From field
- Click 'Create filter' → Apply label 'RouteAware Alerts'
- Check 'Skip the Inbox' to route directly to folder
Enable Important Markers
Never miss critical alerts:
- In filter settings, check 'Always mark as important'
- This ensures alerts appear in your Important folder
- Set up mobile notifications for important emails

Prevent Junk Mail Filtering
If alerts go to Junk Email folder:
- Right-click the email → 'Junk' → 'Not Junk'
- Add to Safe Senders: Right-click → 'Junk' → 'Never Block Sender'
- Confirm the sender is added to your Safe Senders list
Create Rules & Folder
Auto-organize alerts:
- Right-click any RouteAware email → 'Rules' → 'Create Rule'
- Check 'From alerts@berouteaware.com'
- Select 'Move to folder' → Create 'RouteAware Alerts' folder
- Check 'Mark as high importance' for priority alerts

Stay notified on all devices:
- In Outlook settings, enable desktop notifications
- Set up push notifications in Outlook mobile app
- Configure VIP notifications for high-priority folders

Whitelist Our Domain
Add @berouteaware.com to your email provider's safe domains list to ensure all our emails bypass spam filters automatically.
Dedicated Folder
Create a 'RouteAware Alerts' folder and set up automatic filtering to keep alerts organized and easily accessible.
Mark as Important
Flag alerts as important or high priority so they stand out in your inbox and trigger mobile/desktop notifications.
Corporate Email Settings
For company emails, ask your IT team to whitelist our sending domain in your corporate spam filter and firewall.
Check Quarantine
If alerts stop coming, check your email's quarantine, spam folder, and blocked senders list for any RouteAware messages.
Test Delivery
Set up a test route to confirm delivery and fine-tune your email filters before adding critical shipping lanes.
