Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using RouteAware's freight intelligence platform and services ("Services"), you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our Services.
Agreement Scope
These Terms apply to:
- All users of the RouteAware platform (free and paid)
- All features and services provided by RouteAware
- All data processing and alert services
- API access and integrations
Business Use Only
RouteAware is designed for business and commercial use in freight logistics. Personal or non-commercial use is not permitted.
Description of Service
RouteAware provides a freight intelligence platform that delivers proactive weather monitoring, temperature alerts, and route-specific intelligence for logistics operations.

Service Tiers
- Free Tier: Up to 5 lane monitoring with basic alerts
- Professional ($150/month): Unlimited lanes, advanced features, priority support
- Enterprise ($300/month): API access, team management, custom integrations
Service features and pricing are subject to change. Users will be notified of significant changes with at least 30 days notice.
User Responsibilities
As a user of RouteAware, you agree to the following responsibilities:
Account Management
- Provide accurate, current, and complete account information
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Acceptable Use
- Use the Services only for legitimate freight and logistics business purposes
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Respect intellectual property rights
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Services
Data Accuracy
- Provide accurate route and load information
- Keep contact information current
- Verify alert settings and preferences
- Report any data inaccuracies promptly
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Sharing account credentials with unauthorized users
- Using the service for personal or non-commercial purposes
- Attempting to access or use another user's data
- Overloading or attempting to disrupt our systems
Billing and Payment
Payment Terms
- Professional and Enterprise tiers are billed monthly in advance
- All fees are due and payable when billed
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
Free Tier
The Free tier allows up to 5 lane monitoring with basic weather alerts. No payment information is required for the Free tier.
Subscription Management
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- You retain access to paid features until the end of the billing period
- After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free tier
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify our pricing with 30 days written notice. If you disagree with price changes, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
No Hidden Fees
Our pricing is transparent. What you see is what you pay. No setup fees, no cancellation fees, no hidden charges.
Service Availability
Uptime Goals
We strive to maintain high service availability:
- Target Uptime: 99.9% monthly availability
- Alert Delivery: Email alerts delivered within 5 minutes of conditions
- Data Updates: Weather data updated every 15 minutes
- System Monitoring: 24/7 automated monitoring and alerting
Maintenance Windows
Planned maintenance is performed during low-traffic periods (typically 2-4 AM EST) with advance notice when possible. Emergency maintenance may be performed without notice.
Service Disclaimers
While we strive for high availability:
- RouteAware is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- Weather data accuracy depends on third-party providers
- Alert delivery may be delayed by email providers or network issues
Important Notice
RouteAware provides intelligence to assist decision-making but should not be your only source of weather information for critical freight decisions. Always verify conditions through multiple sources for high-value or time-sensitive shipments.
Limitation of Liability
Service Limitations
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RouteAware and its affiliates will not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Damages resulting from service interruptions or data inaccuracies
- Third-party content, actions, or omissions
Maximum Liability
Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $1,000, whichever is greater.
Weather Data Disclaimer
Weather information is provided by third-party sources and is for informational purposes only. RouteAware does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of weather data. Users should verify conditions through multiple sources for critical decisions.
Force Majeure
We will not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, network outages, or third-party service failures.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will:
- Update the "last updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify users via email for significant changes
- Provide at least 30 days notice for material changes
- Post the updated Terms on our website
Your continued use of the Services after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may cancel your account.
Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms:
- By You: Cancel your account at any time through your account settings
- By Us: For violation of these Terms, with notice when possible
- Effect: Access to Services stops, but these Terms survive regarding past use
